A tradition
half a century in the making.
The bench has been lit on this corner since 1974.
For more than five decades, a master goldsmith trained in the European tradition built a quiet practice on St. Armands Circle — designing by hand, restoring by hand, and re-imagining the gold and stones brought to him by generations of Sarasota's families. It became the kind of shop one finds only in places like this: small, particular, devoted entirely to the work.
The stewards who took it up arrived with twenty years already at the trade — bench time and counter time in Philadelphia, New Jersey, South Florida, and Key West. Different rooms; the same craft. They came to the Circle for the same reason a piece of fine jewelry takes its place in a family: to be passed forward.
In 2026, with deep respect for the legacy that came before, the house entered new hands. The name on the door has changed; the bench, the address, and the standard have not.
We do not chase the trend or the season. A setting is finished by hand. A repair is treated as a restoration. A watch is wound and tested for days before it is returned. The work itself is the only signature we mean to leave.
The patience of the work is the whole of the work.
